Welcome to JOBLeaders, Central Ohio's newest one-stop employment services provider. Our mission is to meet the employment needs of businesses and job seekers to support economic development in Central Ohio. Our staff and partners are dedicated to meeting your employment needs.

JOBLeaders has partnered with Franklin County Job and Family Services, the State of Ohio Job and Family Service, and the City of Columbus to provide assistance to all job seekers including, but not limited to; those who are moving from public assistance and those seeking their next job quickly when they have been dislocated from their current employer. Our primary focus is helping people to obtain, retain or upgrade employment while assisting employers to gain and maintain a qualified workforce.

The Central Ohio Workforce Investment Corporation (COWIC) is responsible for managing the JOBLeaders initiative. COWIC currently consists of 31 active board members who are community and business leaders that work together to develop policy and strategies to improve our local workforce system. The board members are all volunteers who have been selected and appointed to the Board by the Mayor of the City of Columbus and the Franklin County Board of Commissioners, in conjunction with recommendations made by the Greater Columbus Chamber of Commerce.
